I thought that I would enlightened everyone with a recipe

so much to do so little time? is that the question you ask yourself when your thinking of the big question! that is WHAT AM I going to make for dinner? well I have the answer!
I have a great recipe that was given to me by a lady that comes into lucys I don't know her name but I tried this and twicked what she gave me and made this my own!
it is called TACO SOUP!
Taco Soup
1lb Ground Beef
1 onion chopped
2 pkg taco Seasoning( Taco bell) or whatever one you like
1 pkg Ranch mix
2cans pinto beans
1 can kernal corn
1 can white hominy
2 cans mexican stewed tomatoes
2 cups of water
Simmer in crock pot for 45 minutes
1) In a crockpot put half ranch mix and 1 pkg of Taco seasoning and let that simmer until the hamburger meat is brown
2) Brown meat add onion, ranch mix and taco seasoning and 1 can stewed tomatoes add a little bit of pinto bean juice!
3) Add other veggies to crockpot of water and seasonings
4) Add beef, Tom, Onions to veggie mixture and simmer 45 minutes on high heat
Serve with hint of lime tortilla chips and mexican cheese on top!
it is great and I loved making it!

I developed a 4 star desert for thanksgiving! those of you who have been in lucys before and who have devoured the frozen lucy and the strawberry lucy well I invented the pumpkin lucy and everyone who devoured this invention loved it! my father said that I'm turning into my mother! I wanted to bring something and I thought why not develop a desert so I put my thinking cap on and if you know me real well you know that is scarey sometimes! and came up with it on a piece of paper and with the help of my mother when I made it I came up with it!
so there ya go!

alright the cherry apron baked today

I know that I said on my last post that I was going to bake chocolate chip cookies but that is a huge lie considering I looked in my moms kitchen so I made yellow cake I am to lazy to make the frosting now but I did make the cake it wasn't the recipe that I normally make but oh well my food tasters sure liked it! and when dad is happy and says something is good then you know youve done a good job! anyways Tuesday I have a church meeting and I'm going to make peanut blossoms anyways it is not a nut don't worry it's cookies with chocolate stars ( how I have grown up having them) or Chocolate kisses whichever one you can get your fingers on first! anyways I'm exhausted and I have to get this resturant open! We are opening Aubrey again on Thursday so in the mist of preparing I am writing this blog!

taking a bit of a break

I know that I said that I would bake every sunday but thats not the case! the last two weeks I have been busy and last sunday we ate brownies out of a box! scarey I know but today I might be making rice crispy treats! but my next biggest venture will be chocolate chip cookies!

special Monday Post

I felt like posting today but I had a huge flop! for the first time in my work baking career! I made cream pies and the chocolate ones were thick but the coconut NOT SO MUCH! I floped and I don't even know what I did or why it was really runny! I normally make them and they turn out great but today it was a nightmare! so I may have to remake them tomorrow because they were runny! :( It was bad! the lady I work with Yvonne even didn't know what I did! like I said I flopped! maybe tomorrow or the next day I will get it right! I'm not perfect well really no one is! :) I was thinking in my head why didn't I get this right? but no answer came to mind!

Miss Kinley Mae Crocker Day One

Alright so today I was like you know what I'm going to make oatmeal cookies because I feel like it! so I went to food network.com and found the easiest recipe I could find! SO I got my shopping list and went to Diamond and bought the stuff I needed and I came home and started making the cookies! And a note to myself is before I make cookies again buy my self two or three cookies sheets it is nearly impossible to bake tweleve cookies with one bake pan! If you know me you know that I bake every single day and I make a pretty big mess! SO..... you ask why do you want to do this? well I have a kitchen that I can do it in and just because I feel like it! My parents and Lisa who owns Mecca had some cookies maybe I will even ship them to Chicago sometime to Lynne so that I don't leave her out! I took pictures of the process! and I even put on an apron that has cherries on it! My name may be Miss KinleyMae Crocker but I just thought of a great blog name it's called the girl with the Cherry apron! :) if you have a facebook check out my pictures of the yummy oatmeal cookies! :)
