HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Gobble Gobble says the turkey! ;) Happy thanksgiving eve or happy thanksgiving! I have survived insanity week in the bakeroom! GO ME! This morning there were three K crockers in the bakeroom! MOM who is BLKC Knox who is Lil K crocker! and Me who is just K crocker! We have had people picking up orders all day long! It has ran smoothly! I'm very happy! Knox helped aunt Kinney make a bunt cake for tomorrow and cracked some eggs for gamma! He also made a dozen Rolls for Gamma! it's for us at home! Knox even ate row cake batter! It was good too! Now there is not much going on so I'm updating my blog!

The calm before the storm!

Tomorrow starts an extremely busy week~! Thanksgiving! We have to get orders out! I worked alot more hours this week but hey it's money and it's closer to me getting my car back! I'm excited about that! Bakeworld with Amy is going well! I sure do miss Shelly though but I love working with Amy as well! we do our little dances and sing while we work and it's fun!

Whew what a day!

Man today started early because it was christmas on main!

Oh no I'm turning into the grinch!

SO... there is a reasoning to my caption I promise!
today was a busy day in bakeworld! Amy and I worked our tales off today! we got 1 chocolate 1 coconut 2 lemons and 5 pecans done by 130! then I made mini sugar cookies for the christmas on main! used red and green sugar and my fingers turned green so I was kidding about my fingers being green! so i said I was turning into the grinch!

OH NO!!!! Where has the time gone?

It's been 5 days since I have blogged!Bad me! I have been lazy and tired and I have forgotten and neglected my blog! anyway! Things are going well with Amy! Today I had two very special and precious visitors for lunch! Knox and M came over to have lunch with me! It was nice to eat with them! I had to share my bread with M and my chips with Knox! He was a stinker and he tried stealing them! I'm staying till 4 for Milton so he can get stuff done! We didn't have much to do in bake world so I was able to let him go home at 1 and stay for him! the time has gone by really fast so I'm not complaining! I'm just bored!

The tall tale of the spotted lemon!

SO.. today has been a great day and it has been kind of boring all at the same time! I also took the opportunity to do some much needed cleaning in the bakeroom! <3 I'm actually taking a break from pie crusts because my feet hurt! I need some more shoe support because these insoles aren't doin it! SO..... I was also zesting a lemon for our lemon cream pie and I called the lemons a spotted lemon! so I thought it would be a cute caption for todays blog post! Amy isn't back to work today because her son is sick! I hope he feels better soon! Milton is sitting here right across from me just staring into space!

Here's my second blog post since I promised to blog more Shelly!

Today was rather wierd it was my first day without Shelly! Amy comes back tomorrow and it's just the two of us from now on! I think we will make a good team! I am working until 5 today so thats why I'm blogging now it's quiet so I thought I would take the opportunity to blog. I didn't get alot done today because I was on the floor! but I did get cake layers made and I made a batch of buttermilk! the last batch was froze and our buttermilks can't be frozen because they are a custard pie and it wouldn't taste good after being in the freezer! I have about an hour left of work and it's been a good day but I want to go home and be with my cats!
I don't have much of anything else to say!

My Last day with Shelly

 It has come! :( Shelly has left the world of K crocker~ we are still great friends she is going to her new job! I wish her all the best but she will be missed! I now have a new wonderful lady named Amy! She is awesome! she had dough and rolls down the first day she started so she will do just fine in the world of K crocker! She is an excellent fit! Today has been a mellow and good day in the bakeroom I'm now a floater~! like today I was done in the BR so I let Milton go home and I'm staying till 4! because there are not enough hours to make 40 hours in the bakeroom! I will try to update my blog more! but I've been slacking! I think I need to watch Julie and Julia because thats the oringal modivation behind this blog! I need to get inspired and modivated again! I think I still have it in my dvr I will have to check or maybe I can just ask for the dvd for christmas! Hmmmmm! thats a strong possiblity!

My Last Week with Shelly

I regret to inform everyone that my baking buddy Shelly is leaving the world of K crocker. She has gotten another job and next Monday is her last day! I asked Milton if he missed her and he said do I miss anyone? Well I take that as a yes! Milton will now be known as Geoff he decided to have his name changed in blogging world. Shelly and I are still great friends and we will be hanging out we just wont be working together. So I'm by my self until we find someone else to put back in the world of K crocker. Yesterday was halloween and man it was fun we took some cute pictures all day. Today was back to Normal I made 8 Pecan pies, a batch of sugar cookies and a double batch of chocolate chip cookies and I was done with everything by 230 so I relieved Milton and let him to go home. I'm now working until 5 every day so I will either be baking until then or relieving Milton and telling him to head home and I have it from here. It has been along time since you have heard from me and I'm sorry I have just been busy with work and life but I will try to get better at blogging. I find it relaxing. Our busiet time of year is coming up and that is from thanksgiving until after christmas then things slow down again. I will be missing my other commitments I think because of how busy things will be in the next couple of weeks.

Update! time for K Mae Crocker Bakes!

Are you ready for an update?
Well if you aren't your getting one! so sit down and read and laugh while your doing it! Today in bake world was mellow which is always awesome and a delight! This week was crazy busy and I'm tuckered to the extreme! Shelly and I worked hard and we both made those deserts and pies and whatever Boss Lady Krys Crocker gave us! Lil Knox Crocker my nephew learned how to crack eggs last week so when he is here I hear I do it or My turn! So I let him crack those eggs! We always have to pull out shells but hey he wants to learn so we let him! Next week is bonnie and clyde days and it should be light and mellow in the bakeroom but like I said who knows!
anyway I have to go now!

OH my gosh! today was the best day ever! we are widerness experts and I held an alligator and I even ate fried alligator at lunch! it was really good too! here are some pictures from vacay!

I got to have desert without even making the mess! ;)

I'm on vacation! I love it it's paradise! I don't want to leave! today we went on a two hour aventure to a place called yoders! and we had food and man was it good! the first thing I noticed was the homemade deserts and I knew they were homemade because they were not perfectly sliced on the plate! lol! anyways the desert was to dye for! it was just as good as I make it! I had the strawberry cream and it was excellent! I also got ideas for how to toast the coconut! so......... I will have to put my thinking cap on and figure something out in that department! Aunt Helen ( who is Lynn's aunt) is getting the recipe for the almond joy pie and it was so nice to talk baking with her!
I can't wait to get back but then again I want to stay here!

Is it sad to be in vacation mode already when I have four days left?

Yeap you read the caption right! I'm in vacation mode! I'm annoying everyone with count downs but I'm so excited I can't stand it and I'm looking forward to my week in paradise! I've been busy getting the baked good ready so Shelly can have an easy week! SO Saturday at 330 in the am I leave for the airport and head to Florida where paradise awaits! I'm still at work I would be at home but dad had other plans and asked me to stay until they come back from Denton! you see we are doing a catering event on Tuesday while we are gone and dad had to take Haven and Geof to show them the kitchen! So I'm sitting in the restaurant having my quiet time writing this post! We need rain so dang bad and it comes in bits and pieces but I'm ready for it just to pour and pour so that it can wash my car so I don't have too! Work has been busy I mean baking wise! The first week of school though is always slow and people are getting adjusted to there new schedules! So that takes a toll on the baking but like cookie wise and frozen lucy wise we are busy! I can't wait to taste someone else's baking for a week! that will be golden!
Anyway! well I better quit rambling before I stop making sense!

Cupcake Fiassco! to the extreme!

Today! was a good day! this morning I had to make 16 cupcakes by 11 oclock! so I did white with chocolate frosting! easy peasy NOT SO MUCH! I made frosting and it was to grainy and rudely and I apologized I took out my pissyness on my sister and then she helped me the third time and it was to grainy! so I thought welll maybe it's the powered sugar! so I try a fourth time and I beat the hell out of it per moms instructions! and then it's still too grainy so finally I knew I was right and mom thought so too! so I left to get powered sugar! coke was there so I couldn't take my car! SO I jump in dads truck Geof is watching because he didn't want me to side swipe the dumpster! so it's 11:15 by then, so I'm pulling out and I hear WAIT WAIT!!!!!! it's dad running after me! I need my day planner! I'm like I need powered sugar! Finally he gets what he needs and tells me to hurry back! SO I come back with the powered sugar and I just couldn't help myself! MOM and I just busted a gut laughing! The cupcakes are finally done! Then I have my tuesday lunch date! and then I finish up by making cream pies which are coconut and bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies! they were perfect! <3
Let's just say I survived!!!!!!!!

Now I have to go but first here is a picture of my frosting mess and some other baking creations!

who stole my sugar cookie?

well the answer is MWAH! I forgot that Shelly made me a "k" cookie and I ate it! Haven had like two peanutbutter cookies she would come and take a piece off of a cookie and end up eatting the whole thing because she loved my cookies so much! I know she works tomorrow so I'm scared to see how many chocolate chip cookies she eats.... dun dun dun.... the question will have to be answered tomorrow! but anyway here is a picture of my K cookie....
The second picture is princess Addi! she is my precious niece and after a while of working we went to hobby lobby and she was PERFECT!  but MY K cookie is for KCrocker and Addi even got a couple of little bites! she is only7 and a half months old and you can't be in this family and not like sweets!

ON Sunday or Monday of last week I can't remember which I also took a picture of three chocolate creams and put them in the shape of mouse for Knox! here is the picture! One day a couple weeks ago I also practiced on a chocolate cake layer that was a dud! and I made a peace cake! Geof called it Poop cake and even put a candle in it and said Happy Poop Day! LOL oh Geof I love working with him!
But I'm exhausted and I have to do my morning walk before work so I better hit the hay!

The master bakers at our best!

I survived the week Shelly was gone! everything is back to normal until I go to paradise in a couple of week for a week on the beach in Florida! Shelly and I have mastered alot in our baking career and we get comments daily on things we bake! We are master bakers at our best! I started getting up earlier towards the end of week and I get alot more done! Mind you I also cooked something new from a cookbook my sister Macy got me! and it actually turned out! and my mom and dad loved what I made A recipe will come on the next post!

So with Shelly gone it has been wierd and I'm missing her very much but mom and I made up my bakers anthem! All around the bakery room kcrocker leaves her messes flours flyin the rolls are rising beep goes the timer! it's to the tune of pop goes the weezle!

Today I got alot done! I made cookies and cream pies and left by 2!
I want my baking buddy back!
It's not the same without her! ;)

Blog post # uno while Shelly is gone!

Shelly is on vacation and is being missed so I told her that I would post! so here it goes! Today I still kind of have to do wet pancake mix but that doesn't take long! I did cookies and made a cake! and I made rolls and that good stuff! it was a great day! I also took a picture of the 21 cakes shelly frosted that are in the freezer but they are in my camera and I haven't posted them yet!

It's going to be a long 9 days! but! I miss her alot!

A couple days behind! Oh my!

Tuesday we delivered 16 cakes to the hopsital it was a big order but it was easy!
Three of Us delivered them!
Yesturday was an easy day in the bakeroom we got alot done!
and today  I also got alot done I did cake layers by myself Shelly would be so proud!
Monday was also powdered sugar day!
anyways not much to say

Guess what K crocker had to do! Sift 6 batches of powdered sugar why you ask because the powdered sugar was clumpy so I was slave labor! if you don't believe me here is the proof! it was hard work!~ Mom had to take a picture and happened to have her camera so she snapped!
I have had a good week and it's only the beginning but I had to share this kodak moment!
can't wait to go and enjoy a freshly mopped bake room in the am!

Bakers Rant!

So... remember when we had those 300 cupcakes to do in two days! well on Friday we have 150 people coming for FREE DESERT and guess who gets to bake the stuff and work it for the resturant K CROCKER and SHELLY! Then Tuesday we have 16 cakes going out for 500 people! We have all of that on top of our other baking! We are going to be waiting for the weekend to come so we can have our day off and get some sleep! We have a couple of busy days coming up!
Anyway thats all my ranting for now!

Sorry it has taken so long!

Man it sure feels like forever! Sorry I haven't updated in a while but I honestly forget and then I just go to sleep! but not tonight! Last week was rather mellow! this week on the other hand we are doing deserts for 150 people on Friday night! Guess who gets to work a split! yeap you read right it's K crocker! Today I was by my self! I got a lot done and stayed a long time but I'm happy with what I accomplished! I got my pandora back on my phone! So tomorrow Shelly and I will be listening to our michael Jackson music! and I get to learn how to make mini cupcakes! oh joy! It is nice because we finally have the freezer organized! I did burn some rolls this morning! OOOOPS!!!!! K crocker is not perfect youguys I mess up just like everyone else! I also burned some chocolate chip cookies because they sat on the tray to long and I didn't watch the time closely!

man it's been a while!

It's been over 10 days since I have updated! sorry but It's been busy!
Tonight I went over to Gunter for dinner and ended up being slave labor! sorry mom theres no other way to put it!
Today I was by my self in the bakeroom!
We had one loney toon on the floor and we had another lady checking the door every five minutes because her friend was driving by!
Shelly was gone and she was missed!

K crocker is not feeling the best today!

Today was rather mellow! I'm back at work though because Geoff had to go to Dallas so I'm covering till 5 I wouldn't have the computer out but since I've been back since 2 we have had three customers and I'm bored! This morning I went into work late because Mr. Knoxamillion spent the night! we had to go and get breakfast!

I came in and did crusts and then I started four doughs! Shelly and I were done by 1. SO I wasn't feeling well so I called the doctor and I have an apt in the am! late for work again tomorrow! but tomorrow it's my health not breakfast I promise! I think I need to get checked out! Knox had strep throat last week, a cold this week and Princess Addi has pneouma and I have been kissing them and around them! So needless to say I need to be safe and get checked! I think I have a sinus infection! ;( ucky uck!

Destiny my godsister comes to stay with me Friday and I'm so excited we have so much fun together! ;)

today started with a bang!

So this morning I came into work and did the rolls and the case then I had to go to denton and deliver cookies because mom had to run an errand! then I get back from that I start mixing the cream pie coconut to be exact. Then I get the scariest call of all I have to go to Gunter because yet again my mom forgot to pick up something and take it with her! SO I walk into the restaurant hand her what she needs and I say " anymore running mom" I was actually serious! She laughed and said get out of here I love ya~! SO after almost using a tank of gas in two days running between two restaurants I didn't get everything on my to do list done today!
I also called sprint to only find out that my phone is mixed with the verizon towers and not the sprint ones so I got that figured out and they are shipping me a new phone! needless to say I may have to pay a 35 dollar fee for a phone that could have been fixed sooner when I actually took it in to them when the problems started a while back!
I got done with the cream pies cleaned up came home and did my errands in denton! I paid rent for June and July! so I'm two months ahead! YIPEE!
Today was good just busy running errands for my forgetful parents and running them for myself on top of my baking work!
Tomorrow is a new day and Shelly works with me tomorrow! I'm estatic! I can actually do dough and pie crusts tomorrow!
anyway I have to go rest my eyes and feed my lovely high maintance cats!

I'm going to do a week long recap!

I have been behind since Wedsnesday.
So here is the short version
of the weekend and everything.
Wedsnesday Shelly and I were baking and the burner on the oven caught fire!
Thursday was rather mellow!
Friday was a light day then I headed into Denton for mom and dad to get dad the I phone and my phone fixed.
Saturday was the car show and Shelly and I creamed way to many pies but didn't sell any deserts bummer! :(
Yesturday I went in for 45 minutes because I was exhausted
and today I just had a mellow day yet again and left at 2!

My day started off great........

Then it started in the middle of making cookies dad would complain about his blackberry phone every five seconds. Since my dad likes to come and go as he pleases for the longest time I had cookies packaged and I didn't know where to put them!

So after I got that figured out and I was in the middle of scooping and I get " KINNNNNLEY" thats right Geof calls me to the floor for about five seconds. People were calling me like I was popular or something.

Then on top of baking for two restaurants and the donations dad puts on us during car show week.

anyway I had to call the employees to see if someone else would work for them.

I hope tomorrow is less stressful well I think it will be because Shelly will be baking with the cupcake,cookie and cream pie queen.

Cupcake queen to the extreme~!

To say that I'm done frosting cupcakes is an understatement.
I frosted 290 cupcakes in two days and I'm tired of cupcakes.
Tomorrow I have to make 250 Sugar cookies a little easier but I think I can get them made in one day.

Sorry for taking so long to update again.
Things have been nuts......... We have had family in all weekend and we have been spending time with them. I have got one thing of donations down! Cupcakes were frosted this morning for the bakesale.

Tomorrow I have to frost 200 cupcakes and do pie crusts because today I had light stuff!

We have a busy week ahead of us with the car show. SO I don't know how much I will be blogging this week because of the busyness!

Two days behind oh my!!!! ;)

Today Shelly had off so I came in by myself!
I had cookies to make so I made them and they are finished!
Yesturday I had a great day in the bakeroom!
Oh yeah I also made cupcakes and forgot the vanilla! oooops mom doesn't know so don't tell her! They still taste good though.

Today was such a breeze!!!!!!!!

Shelly called me lastnight and said that she had gotten alot done and I was so happy to hear that. Today I got in about 9 filled the pie case and was excited because I didn't have to cream anything. That is not the case tomorrow I mind you.  I wanted to make two pie crusts so I did that and baked the sugar cookies for the hopsital deliveries. 


Tomorrow I have alot to do with Shelly and I get to meet her dad tomorrow I'm excited.
Yesturday I cleaned my apt and had the best early morning with my precious nephews. 


SO today I thought I would update!


Roxie comes Tuesday and Lynn comes friday so I'm excited because we are getting a visit from family and we are going to be busy this week!

The baker lives on!

I'm about three days behind because well Blogger had some issues with you seeing my blog!
Yesturday I frosted the best lookin cupcakes you will ever see mom even said they were awesome!
The other day morning Knox came and we went to breakfast but I started off a little behind because my nephew was a big distraction!

Today I got like 2 hours behind because Geof is gone and we had no dishwasher and we were short handed on the floor! so I had to go on the floor for a bit!

I know that I'm a good worker but my day was screwed up but oh well! it was good!
 I'm such a nice aunt because on my only day to sleep in that I get for a whole week! I'm getting up at 645 to watch my lovely nephews while my sisters do a run! ;)

Well I'm the Cookie Queen!

Man this Blog business today is making me Mad.... well I think being on a different computer has alot  to do with it. Darn computer eating my sentences.

Ok where was I oh in la la land ok your right there too but let me tell you about my day.

So I came in at 8 because I worked late and I was exhausted. I did the normal routine and start whipping the dough and flour was flying and butter was on the floor. If any of you have baked with me you know I make a huge mess in the bakeroom and by the time I leave I'm literally covered head to toe in flour.
Just a minute I have to go and turn my cookies.Ok cookies are turned around because our oven is an un even convention oven and you have to bake stuff on one side for the half the time and turn it for the other half.

Ok now I really lost my self.

I got done with dough and Debbie came in to do dishes and I had her clean the hobart bowl so I could mix my triple yes triple batch of chocolatte chip cookies. I did them one at a time because those suckers are hard to mix and get to right consistenty.

I got done mixing them then I cleaned up swept and the whole nine yards and went on a lunch date with Bonnie. We went and had mexican food and it was awesome. I got to ride in her little smart car. I think mom needs one for going around town and stuff.

I came back and I just got done putting the last batch of cookies on the trays and I'm baking them so mom and I can have our date to denton.

My favorite two year old is coming to spend the night with us tonight. I will probably have a bake partner some time in the morning.

Knox will do more then help he will eat the cream off the pie and eat the bips which are chocolatte chips in his cute little Vocabulary. But it's time with Aunt Kinney that counts not the mess he will bring to the bakeroom.

Anyways I think thats all for today!

It's a great day to be in the bakeroom

Today was extremely easy. I did rolls and filled the pie case and made cream pies because I had to be done at 1:30 because I have to work a split. So today was a easy kind of day. and It was awesome. I made 5 of each pie at a time and I didn't even mess up I'm so proud of my self I could jump from joy........

My mom will be so proud when she sees them they look awesome and glossy and pretty and silky......

anyways I don't have much to say today because I didn't do much!

Today started off rough but it ended up being a wonderful day in the world of the bakeroom........ My mom was there for while then she went to Gunter and I made crusts all day.......... I did abuse my self with the pie press and the bruises I'm going to have are going to hurt.....

My sister bee was so funny! dad gave us all cake and Aura wanted a strawberry on her cake so bee thought it was going to be strawberry cake...... Aura yelled No I wanted strawberry on my cake... we all just busted out laughing......... you really had to be there to get the jist... if you want to be in the funnyness just work a day in my shoes.......

What's in my world today?

SO... I had a wonderful day today but I did flop on my brownies so I had to drive over to celina and deliver them. I got a tip for delivering the brownies and when I got back to tell Shelly that I got a tip she asked me if I was going to take her to dinner and I said well we would have to split it 3 ways because mom made them and you frosted them and I delivered them.

I said well that is 3.50 a person hmmm where can we eat for that much a person? but after I got off it dawned on me I could just take them to Mcdonalds because mom and I can eat for 3.50 a person....... so anyway I came back and made chocolate cream pies. I did great I got to make 5 at a time and they TURNED OUT GREAT so that is a success.... my mess of the day would have hands down been the brownies..............

I came and made three chocolates then I went to run an errand for dad and then Shelby and I went and got snowcones... because if the restaurant, gift shop and Gunter aren't enough lets add a snow cone stand.... yeap thats right dad has a snowcone stand..... so I came back from getting the snow cone and finished the coconut pies and then mom started dough thank you head boss baker bit.......

I finished dough and cleaned up and went home for the day.... but since head boss baker bit was in gunter I toook care of the puppies it was fun....

then I went home to my kitties who I love so much....

My partner who I bake with doesn't want to be mentioned so I changed her name and I'm not going to disclose her real name... if you want to know.... well you won't so unless I post it on Facebook........ you will never know so shhhhhhhhhhhhhh if you know... Mom, and Macy....

Tomorrow I have my day off where I get to sleep in and clean and spend the day with my lovely animals so I won't be back till sunday.........

Today was a light and not so stressful day......
I was baking and singing my own tv tunes like sponge bob and lamb chops yall remember that theme song! this is the song that never ends!!!! well you know what I am singing and I was putting the peanut butter cookies on the pan and my mom stopped me mid tune and said oh Kinley don't start singing that song! so I stopped.... After peanut butter cookies the mess making started I made chocolate cake layers.... they were a success and poof they came out of the pan perfectly.

I had lunch then I made 6 choc cream pies well I can only make 3 at a time because I don't have 6 at a time down but they turned out good and glossy as mom says they are supost to look.... so I got er done....

Then it was time to leave and I was so excited....I had the cookies wrapped and was ready to go then I decided to cream two pies... that I almost whipped to butter but I caught the cream in the nick of time because it was still white and it still tasted good.... but if anyone wants to know how to make butter just ask and I will give you a lesson I have made butter plenty of times. Not purposly I mind you.....

I had an order for a chocolate chess and I thought I could just use the redi whip and be lazy but nah mom would kill me so I got out the whipping cream and whipped away.... I hate making cream for chocolate chess pie! I did it anyway because we are not lazy and we don't use redi whip out of a can.....

So that was the tal tale of my day!

Baker post of the day

it's about time I start this thing up again because I'm the baker and this is a perfect place to write about the messes I make and the sucesses I make! like today I made dough and cream pies and I made a huge mess but I always manage to cover myself head to toe with flour! I've been in the bake room for about a month I have some things down and some things I don't. I'm working at it every single day and it is not easy to bake! It's not like your easy bake oven and pouf it's done! you actually have to do the mixing you have to do the scraping and you actually have to turn on the oven and wait for the stuff to bake!

I'm baaaaaaaack!

So... I'm back in the bakeroom once again! I have been doing some baking for moms on main and tonight I decided to bake brownies with my grannys recipe and it was awesome! and popular everyone loved them! anyways I have been creaming and filling the pie case oh and forming the rolls! ;)
